At the core of the classroom training is the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP) which is the most researched and best-known bullying prevention program available today. Backed by more than thirty-five years of research and successful implementation in many different countries, the Olweus program has been proven to prevent or reduce bullying throughout a school setting. It provides marked reduction of general antisocial behavior and clear improvements in the classroom social climate through positive atitudes toward other students, school and schoolwork.
The bully prevention safety specialists at Makowski's Martial Arts Academy teach students self-respect, develop confidence, positively reinforce each student's abilities and recognize achievement of personal best in their own unique talents and abilities. The program provides a framework for student excellence in attitude, ability, and behavior with the purpose of improving peer relations and making the school a safe and positive place for students to learn and develop.

In addition to bully prevention safety specialists, the instructor(s) from Makowski's ATA Martial Arts Academy are professional fitness trainers, highly ranked black belt certified instructors with ATA International, Human Factors Training Safety Training specialists with certifications for programs that are applicable to training for education, police, healthcare, and business professionals, as well as martial arts and self-defense training for all ages and levels of physical ability.
